present a hands-on introduction to 2 popular forms of armored
martial arts:

Please Wear: Phys. Ed. / gym clothes. Nothing that binds the shoulders; nothing that
drapes at the ankles. Please remove jewelry before handling weapons.
NOTE: kendo and naginata are traditionally practiced in bare feet but ...
socks and foot guards are permitted for beginners or injury.
